GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney spoke early this morning in Des Moines, touting his approach to the economy in contrast to Obama’s. Romney said his goal as POTUS would be “more jobs and more take-home pay” and he got a standing ovation from the crowd the third or fourth time he made that reference. Romney’s also promising to create 12 million new jobs in one term if he’s elected POTUS.

Romney also repeated his welfare-related attack on Obama and mentioned the energy sector without addressing the controversy over extending the wind production tax credit.
