Branstad gets a six-pack for his birthday

The six GOP presidential candidates who are in Des Moines this Saturday for a forum sponsored by The Family Leader are going to make the trek over to Republican Governor Terry Branstad’s birthday bash/fundraiser in Altoona.  The invitation says…

as they celebrate Gov. Branstad’s 65th birthday at Adventureland’s Palace Theater in Altoona! The event is this Saturday, November 19, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m.

The event will be fun for the whole family, with live music, birthday cake, kids activities, pictures of Governor, Chris and family through the years, and memorabilia available for purchase. Moreover, guests will receive a preview of the 2012 legislative session.

Tickets are $65 per person…Governor Branstad and Lt. Governor Reynolds are pleased to attend the Family Leader’s Thanksgiving Family Forum.
