Craig Schoenfeld was among the crew who exited the Gingrich campaign a few weeks back. Schoenfeld, an attorney/lobbyist/Iowa campaign veteran who I first met when he worked inside the statehouse for Republican legislators, had been executive director of Gingrich’s Iowa Caucus effort — until the mass exodus.
The group “Americans for Rick Perry” has hired Schoenfeld to be executive director, in Iowa, for Americans for Rick Perry. The group’s website lists Jeff LaCourse as “Iowa Campaign Director.” Schoenfeld will (eventually?) get listed as Iowa campaign executive director.
