When House Majority Leader Linda Upmeyer (R-Garner) moved to set noon at the deadline for a final vote on the labor bill that’s been up for debate in the Iowa House since Wednesday, it’s not JUST the final vote on the bill itself. It will be a final vote on EVERY AMENDMENT that hasn’t yet been voted upon. It could take a while, as Democrats drafted more than 100 amendments, and the House has waded through not quite a fifth of them.
