Iowa GOP chairman Matt Strawn talked about the positioning of the Iowa Caucuses and the “early stirring” here during an appearance on ABC’s “Top Line” today. “It’s wide open in Iowa because we don’t know what the field is going to look like,” Strawn said. He mentioned both Pizza Ranches and farm coops as campaign destinations. When prompted by the show’s hosts, Strawn said Barnstormer games “would be a fanastic way (for candidates) to reach Iowans.” Strawn is part-ownerof the arena football team, as you may know.
