You’ve seen the movie, Groundhog Day, where Bill Murray lives the same day over and over (until he gets it right). Statehouse reporters are about to trek into Room 9 in the statehouse for a 9 a.m. news conference with the once and current Governor Terry Branstad. Branstad held weekly news conferences during his previous run as governor and he’s promising to do the same. It’s a bit like Groundhog Day, the movie, for some of the oldtimers who covered Branstad’s previous run as governor.
