Miss Iowa may give former Governor Chet Culver some competition as Culver campaigns for a job in the renewable fuels industry. Miss Iowa said Saturday during the Miss America pageant that she came from the state that leads the nation in ethanol production. “My state gives your state gas,” said Pauli Mayfield. A neighbor to the west, Miss Nebraska was crowned Miss America, by the way. She wants to go to law school, with the long-term goal of becoming a judge and a politican.
