Jeff Link, a long-time Iowa Democratic Party insider who has worked on a number of notable Iowa campaigns, runs a Des Moines-based consulting firm called Link Strategies. He sent an email yesterday (I didn’t get it) which outlined his theory as to why Iowa bucked the trend and all three Democratic incumbent congressmen were reelected.
