A reminder that the final face-to-face televised meeting of the two major party candidates for governor starts at noon today. The event is being staged at Iowa Public Television. IPTV will stream the event live on its website, and air it live on IPTV’s World channel (for those of you who have the digital .3 channel on your televisions). It will air statewide tonight on Iowa Public Television at 8 p.m.
The Des Moines Register is sponsoring the debate, and I am one of the questioners on a three-person panel, along with The DMR’s Kathie Obradovich and Dean Borg, the host and moderator of IPTV’s Iowa Press. So…I won’t be able to “live blog” during the hour, but will be on the laptop soon after the event concludes to give you some backstage and on-the-set tidbits.
