Your Congressman, Bruce Braley voted this past Friday for a huge national energy tax – a tax on natural gas and electricity that will hit every American family and small business. The Wall Street Journal said this tax “will likely be the largest tax in American history.” A tax that will move more American jobs overseas while unemployment continues to rise. Even Democratic Congressman John Dingell called this bill "a tax and a great big one." A tax Warren Buffett calls huge – regressive forcing many poor people to pay a lot more for electricity.
Call Bruce Braley now at 319-287-3233. Let him know that his vote on the Nancy Pelosi National Energy Tax is a vote against American families.
An NRCC spokesman said a "web video" would be released later today targeting Braley, but at 4:42 eastern Iowa, there was nothing of it on the NRCC website. John Deeth is surprised the NRCC isn't targeting Congressman Leonard Boswell (D-Des Moines) instead.

They should also target Congressman Dave Loebsack. He also voted for the energy bill which will increase energy costs for Iowans and the American people. Call or email your Senators and tell them you are opposed to the energy bill HR 2454. Tell them to vote NO on this tax bill.
