Grassley burn not serious

U.S. Senator Chuck Grassley was injured Friday as he was burning piles of brush at his farm near New Hartford. Grassley sent out a tweet on his Twitter account, describing what happened: "Work on farm Fri. Burning piles of brush WindyFire got out of control. Thank God for good naber He help get undr control PantsBurnLegWound."

A spokeswoman for the senator says the burn is "not serious."  Grassley didn't need to go to the doctor, according to the spokewoman, and the senator is wearing a bandage over the burn, which is below one of his knees.  Grassley told his staff he is "fine" and will be holding his town meetings, as scheduled, this week in western Iowa.  (A check of Grassley's website, however, shows nothing scheduled under Iowa events.  Perhaps they'll update it.) UPDATE at 2 p.m.:  One of Grassley's staff members emailed this week's schedule which you can read below.
