For some reason Representative Ralph Watts, a Republican from Adel, sought some reassurance from Representative Rick Olson this afternoon that Watts and Olson were still pals. Olson, as you may know, is the Democrat from Des Moines who is the flood manager of the "prevailing wage" bill which has been under debate for nearly 5 hours now (only 10 minutes to go!).
Olson told Watts he had a great sense of humor and was an all around swell guy (I'm paraphrasing), but then closed with this: "I sound like Mrs. Watts."
