First Lady visits Vilsack & USDA

First Lady Michelle Obama visited the U.S. Department of Agriculture today, gifting the agency with a tree.  It's a gesture connected to Vilsack's jackhammering last week.

According to the pool report, M. Obama had something nice to say about former Iowa Governor Tom Vislack.  "You all are blessed to have him," the first lady said of Vilsack, who is Obama's U.S. Ag Secretary.  Vilsack, again according to the pool report, delivered a "moving introduction" of Mrs. Obama, indicating she — among all the folks in Wasington — has the most difficult job of all:  she has to be the person who the president relys on so he can do his job.
