Matt Strawn, the new chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa, has picked Jeff Boeyink (former Iowans for Tax Relief president) to be the party's executive director. Strawn sent an email to members of the Republican Party of Iowa's state central committee this weekend to make the announcement.
It is not news, however, as a news release has not been issued, nor has one been posted on the Republican Party of Iowa's website (the last news release posted there is dated 2/5/09).
